Sadly, Chicago Alderman Ed Bus failed to garner the necessary votes to force Rahm Emanuel into a run-off, ending his Very Clever endorsed bid for Chicago Mayor.

Improvised Star Trek

The first of the promo’s we’re doing for Improvised Star Trek are complete and ready for viewing. These first two focus on some of the recurring characters that are part of the weekly show which plays at the iO Theatre Saturdays at midnight.

Here the ships counselor offers to answer your questions about life on a star ship. This video is but the intro, click through at the end to see him address common starfleet problems:

Film Racing Updates

The results are in for the 2009 Film Race, and The Never Did Do Blues was awarded 5th Place nationally. Thanks to everyone who voted for us.

Un Duet Dans les Nuages(A Duet in the Clouds) has been named one of the top 20 films of the Film Race Grand Prix, voting is still open here.

Film Racing Grand Prix 09: Among the Clouds

A few weeks ago Very Clever engaged in another round of Film Racing, this time their 100 Hour Grand Prix. Starting with the theme of Privacy, and the prop of a balloon, we created Un Duet Dans les Nuages(A Duet in the Clouds), our French-est film yet. The film stars our friend Chicago commedienne Natalie Kossar, who co-wrote the music as well.
